Gary is the founder and CEO of McKillican International, Inc. (est. 1978). His entrepreneurial spirit, vision and passion for the business grew from a single operation to one of North America’s largest independent specialty building material distributors, with 20 locations in the United States and Canada. Throughout the years, Gary has been actively involved in all major industry organizations, serving as President of the CNBMDA and the NBMDA. With a strong commitment to education, Gary received his EMBA from Harvard University and has completed multiple industry programs at Texas A&M and Ohio State University. Most recently, Gary stepped down as President and away from the day-to-day operations of the company, however, he continues to be a visionary, and remains involved in the industry to offer his support, knowledge and experience.

Jamie was appointed President of McKillican International, Inc. in March, 2012. He began his career with McKillican in 1999, after graduating from the Alberta School of Business, University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in Finance and MIS. Throughout the years, he has furthered his industry specific education through various programs at Texas A&M and Purdue University. Jamie has held successive positions in the company as: IT Manager, Marketing Manager, Sales Manager, General Manager and Executive Vice President. Currently, Jamie is a board member of the NBMDA and previously held the position of Co-Chair of the CIDA Committee. Jamie’s background in sports fuels his competitive spirit and his commitment to be “ever better” both professionally and personally. He is a firm believer in professional/personal development or to "Sharpen the Saw" (to quote Stephen Covey), as it creates an ever expanding perspective filled with opportunity. His passion for the business, the industry and the people provide the drive and focus necessary to lead the company into a new and exciting era.
