Potlatch Standard

General Description

Potlatch particleboard combines all of the environmental benefits of a 100% pre-consumer recycled wood fiber and no Urea Formaldehyde added particleboard product with the highest quality standards you expect from a Potlatch product. In fact, third party verification shows formaldehyde emissions no greater than those you'd find in outdoor air. That means TerramicaTM compares favorably to agri-fiber based products and other wood-based panels that use MDI resin.

Environmental Description

NAF: No added Formaldehyde. TerramicaTM particleboard from Potlatch is the only NAF resin particleboard on the market.

USGBC: It can potentially contribute to achieving Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEEDâ„¢) credits for:
Materials and Resources
Recycled Content MR 4.1 & MR 4.2,
Regional Materials MR 5.1 & MR 5.2,
and Environmental Quality EQ 4.4. It combines low emission standards, certified recycled content, and sustainable raw materials, with the reliability and proven industry track record of wood based particleboard.
