FSC Duramine on NAUF CFC Plywood

General Description

FSC Duramine brand Melamine on certified CFC Plywood core containing NO Urea-Formaldehyde Added.

PERFORMANCE CORE: (CFC Plywood) combines MDF cross bands with softwood veneer innerplies. The MDF cross bands provide an ultra smooth surface to reduce telegraphing through the face, while the veneer innerplies maintain the strength and screw-holding power of a veneer core panel.

NO Urea-Formaldehyde ADDED: It is specified as a green particleboard panel. It is SCS and EPP certified to be pre-consumer recycled wood fiber MDF and has No Urea Formaldehyde Added during manufacturing.

Environmental Description

FSC: Chain of Custody (COC) Certification provides a guarantee about the production of FSC-certified products. Chain-of-custodý is the path taken by raw materials from the forest to the consumer, including all successive stages of processing, transformation, manufacturing and distribution.

USGBC: It can potentially contribute to achieving Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED™) credits for:
Materials and Resources –
Regional Materials MR 5.1 & MR 5.2,
and Environmental Quality EQ 4.4. It combines low
emission standards, certified recycled content, and sustainable

Physical Properties

FEATURES: Premium Core
The high-quality texture, hardness and uniformity is achieved by the MDF crossbands — undoubtedly the best choice.

Eliminates Telegraphing. Unlike standard veneer core panels, the MDF
crossbands in CFC veneer core provide better strength and improved density, eliminating telegraphing throughout the panel. The dimensional stability ensures that the panel will always lay flat.

Exceptional Machinability
The density and uniformity of CFC veneer core provides superior machinability, leaving the cleanest edges when routering or cutting.
Lightweight CFC veneer core is manufactured with a Western softwood inner core. In combination with the thinnest MDF skin available on the
market, CFC veneer core weighs less than a particleboard or MDF panel.
