General Description
UltraStock MDF by Temple-Indland
MDF is non-structural, interior product made from wood particles that are often the byproducts from the manufacture of the other wood products such as lumber or paper. The particles are mixed with resins and formed under heat and pressure into a strong, solid board.
UltraStock™ Premium MDF combines super-refined fiber resources and proven production processes to produce defect-free panels with the machinability and finishing characteristics you need for maximum efficiency.
This Medium Density Fiberboard contains low fuming urea formaldehyde resin and may release formaldehyde vapors in low concentrations. Formaldehyde vapors can be potentially irritating to the eyes and upper respiratory system. Should irritation develop, consult your physician.
Environmental Description
Medium density fiberboard (MDF) are manufactured to strict quality control standards with recycled and recovered wood fiber. These products may contribute towards specific credits under the US Green Building Council (USGBC) Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) criteria.
