Environmental Description

Timber Products Company is the proud steward of 120,000 acres of timberlands in Northern California. We manage these lands under the strict standards of the California Department of Forestry and the Sustainable Forestry Initiative ® program. Our forestry practices have been independently audited by PricewaterhouseCoopers to be in full compliance with the standards and objectives of the SFI® program.

Wood fiber from this resource is directed to our manufacturing facilities in Northern California and Southern Oregon.

Owning and managing our own raw material resource gives Timber Products Company the ability to control both the quality and the cost of the final product.

Hardwood plywood manufactured in our Grants Pass and Medford, Oregon facilities from domestically sourced materials has been independently certified to meet the tough standards of the Sustainable Forestry Initiative On-Product Labeling Program. Timber Products Company is the first hardwood plywood manufacturer in the world authorized to carry the FSC program label.
