Nevamar high pressure laminate is manufactured with the Armored
Protection surface, which provides almost 3 times the ANSI/NEMA standard for wear resistance. This technology protects the laminate surface and keeps it looking new longer. The product therefore does not require frequent replacement thereby maximizes the raw material resources used to make the product. Under normal usage, the product’s replacement will be driven more by consumers’ changing design preferences than by performance.

Environmental Description

Atlanta, GA, November 8, 2005 – The GREENGUARD Environmental Institute has awarded GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certification to Nevamar® high-pressure decorative laminates and metal surfaces. The Nevamar laminates were scientifically tested to the GREENGUARD Standards for Low Emitting Products. Earning GREENGUARD Certification means that professionals and homeowners alike can trust the Nevamar decorative surfaces to create spaces free of harmful pollutants.

Nevamar high pressure laminate was tested by National Particleboard
Association according to Formaldehyde Test Method-2 1985, Large Chamber Test Method and found to have emissions below the sensitivity of the test.

Typically, Nevamar high pressure laminates are stocked in textured (T) finish. Some stock line items come standard in another finish as indicated in the product guide. Cost Differential Guide
The price index is based on general purpose non-solid laminate in Textured Finish being equal to 1.0. The index is used to determine the approximate price of the various finishes by multipying the cost of Textured by the index factor. Actual prices, however, will vary according to quantity and geographic area.
